My project is entitled “Olive Believed”. Olive Believed is a children’s book which focuses on the importance of nurturing self-confidence in the childhood developmental stage. This book follows the story of an 8-year-old Jamaican student who wants to take on the major role of becoming a class prefect but is discouraged by classmates who does not think she is capable enough. Eventually she is encouraged by those around her including parents and teachers, Olive overcomes her challenges and succeds in her goal of becoming a class prefect.
