Welcome to Media Magnified. A platform showcasing the incredible work of final-year Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and Technology (BACAT) students at the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech, Ja.)
Our mission is to provide a platform for these talented individuals to showcase their innovative and thought-provoking projects to the world. We believe that their work not only showcases their individual skills but also highlights the power of interdisciplinary collaboration.
The BACAT program at UTech inspires students to investigate the connection between technology and the arts, which has paved the way for our graduates to succeed as leaders in respective domains. The curriculum is made to get students ready for a world that is changing quickly and where problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking are more crucial than ever.
On this website, we are pleased to showcase a wide variety of our work, including interactive installations, multimedia artwork, and innovative digital marketing strategies. Every project is the result of four years of experimentation, ingenuity, and hard labor.
