Brain Drain is a phenomenon that has been present in Jamaica for decades, but recently, the number of skilled workers who are leaving the country has become a cause for concern. The term ‘Brain Drain’ can be defined as the migration of healthy personnel to different parts of the world in search of a higher standard of living and quality of life. With this knowledge, the main purpose of this short documentary is to provide some insight on Brain Drain to persons who are interested in the issue and its impact on Jamaica’s economic, societal and/or social growth. It is primarily about finding out the real push and pull factors of persons who are being influenced by the phenomena with hopes of figuring out how it can be fixed to encourage change and/or stay. Therefore, this documentary will also demonstrate to university students their importance to the development of the country and how their expertise can be used to have a significant impact on the economical and societal growth of the nation
